Now I think I am enough experienced to teach different classes of music including Indian classical and light music. This blog along with my YouTube channel Sur O Sargam will help and encourage those students who eagerly want to learn music but unable to do so due to lack of resources. So let's together enrich our different talents inside us and motivate ourselves to do magical things in the world.

Adopt a Different Personality to be Successful

Same person, same process, same action producers same results. If you want to get an extra ordinary result you have to become an extraordinary person. Any type of result is highly related with the person who is acting for that result. To get a different result you have to replace the man who is producing those malicious results.

But how can you replace yourself ? Ok then replace your head and places someone other’s head just like Ganesha( a Hindu God whose head was amputed by lord Shani but kind lord Shiva placed an elephant’s head over Ganesha’s neck). Still not possible ! Then I can’t help you. You have to change your head to be successful in life. Indirectly I am asking you to change your mind. If your mind changes for better then your whole office will automatically change.

Changing Your Mind

Changing your mind is not an easy task as you are habituated to do the same things that you have been doing for a long period of time. Bad habits are created effortlessly but erasing a bad habit requires a strong will power. Generating a good habit requires a high degree of commitment but uninstalling a good habit can be done in seconds just like uninstalling an app from our mobile. I have read many books on the topic Habit. Initially I have found these books helpful for changing my habits but after a few days my old habits pulled me towards it just like a magnet pulls a piece of iron. Who is the culprit here? Certainly my mind. So I decided to change my mind to incorporate new patterns and disapprove old behaviours in my life. This decision changed my destiny. Here are some tips on how to change your mind.

1. Strong Sentimental reason

An emotion is a physiological and mental feeling state that directs our attention and governs our behavior. Stronger the emotional reason to change, quicker will there be the behavioral change. So ask yourself, “Why I want to change my mentality?” If your answer is because I want to become rich then it can’t motivate you. But if your answer is “I want to take revenge for something” or ” I want to prove my ex girlfriend that I am the best.” then these answers will force you to remain motivated lifelong. Your answer should not be materialistic but it should be highly emotional.

A Man angry and annoyed with something
Highly emotional

2. Do it right now

Starting means half done. Early bird catches the worm. Idle brain is devil’s workshop. Don’t allow your brain to be idle. Start immediately. But, “how can you start everything right now?”Prioritise your work and do each work simultaneously. This is the most important habit one has to cultivate to change his personality. This single behaviour has power to change your entire destiny. So I name this behaviour as anti-procrastination pattern of a successful entity.

Is it difficult to follow? If you are not in a mood to do anything, start cleaning your study table, rearrange your books and clothes, DO SOMETHING USEFUL but don’t keep your brain idle. There are some useless work like chatting with friends, watching TV , watching social media posts in mobile and more. AVOID USELESS WORK.

3. Practice, Practice and Practice

Picture of Bruce Lee and his quote
Famous Quote of Bruce Lee

If you drive a car for the first time, you will learn something on driving. If you try it for the second time your driving skill will somewhat improve. But if you drive it hundred times, you will be an expert in driving that car. Again if you abstain yourself from driving for six months, your calibre in driving that car will decrease.

To be a master of any skill requires a lot of practice that can not be done in one or two days. Also to hold that mastered skill for the lifetime, one has to practice that skill on regular intervals.

In an interview, Mr Sachin Tendulkar (Indian cricket player) told the interviewer that he used to face 500 balls in net practice, everyday without missing a single day in a year for the last 17 years at sharp 6am morning.

By practice your skills improves. Only learning a skill is not important but to practice the skill over and over again is the vital thing needed to become it’s master.

Repeating a task again and again! Is it difficult or easy?

4. Do your Best

No one is perfect and perfection cannot be reached because there is always a room for a work to be done in a better way. The only thing we can do is to give our 100% effort to do our best.

This mentality to do our best should not be limited to our profession but it should be executed to every walks of life. If you are playing then do your best in playing that game. If you are cleaning your room then do your best to clean that room. If you are in office then do your best to do your duty sincerely, etc etc.

Creating a habit of doing best you can is nothing but doing every thing with care and passion.

5. Keep Yourself updated

Electric bill payment – on time, Attending seminar – on time, Hair cutting – on time, Professional task submission – on time, payment of house maid – on time, Your dream project task – on time

This means that you have updated yourself. There is no pending work left aside. Creating this habit to be updated is not a difficult task but it requires a certain degree of commitment.

6. Acceptance and Forgiveness

Be a performer but don’t try to become a reformer. Your mentality won’t match with others. You will say that the glass is half full and others will say that the glass is half empty. Views of others may be completely different than yours. They are right in their point of view and you are right in your point of view. It is wise not to comment on their point of view. Never try to change their way of life instead try to accept them and forgive them from your inner heart. It is better to forget those ignorant people who never brothers about your wise suggestions. So why to quarrel with others, let them live their life and you live in your own world.

Is it difficult to accept and forgive some ignorant people of your society? If you forgive someone then you can easily erase everything about that person from your mind.

7. Always be in a Hurry

If you want a task to complete early then you have to be in a hurry. When you are in a hurry you won’t loose focus over the job and when you are highly focused, the quality of the task done unconsciously improves.

Also establishing a piece of work early gives opportunity to complete other works early. This habit in turn gives the advantage to complete a huge project before the time allotted by you in your goal schedule and you will achieve quick success.

8. Produce World Class Quality

You will be in a hurry to complete your task but never compromise with the quality. It should be the best and it should be the world class. Create a famous and high quality brand name for your product and services.

Creating good quality needs huge amount of time but once you create it, it’s re – creation won’t take much.

But how to attain world class quality? You will never create something world class in the first attempt. The only thing you have to keep in mind, ” I will produce better in my next attempt.”

This mindset to improve the quality in every occasion and in every opportunity will one day reward you with the quality that is called WORLD CLASS.

9. Keep yourself busy

What am I doing now? Ask this question 100 times a day and answer it honestly without any partiality in two words. Give two option for it. 1. USEFUL WORK and 2. USELESS WORK. Hang this question along with the two answers in every wall of your living rooms and in your place of work.

If the answer is “Useful work” then it’s OK and if the answer is “Useless work” then you are not busy enough to attain the wealth of success. Tell yourself “I am an important and busy person and I don’t have time for trifles. I am changing my way right now”.

A wooden board to motivate people to start now
Motivate yourself to do it now

You should be actually busy 24*7. Show off business is a different thing. You have to be honest with yourself that you are really busy and not making a false commitment.

10. Every Step Towards Growth and Progress

Once to an interviewer, Master batsman Mr Sachin Tendulkar Said,”I play cricket, I eat cricket, I think cricket,I sleep cricket, I dream cricket, I walk cricket, and cricket cricket & cricket is in every step of my life.” The burning desire in him to grow day by day made him The God of Cricket.

Your destination is towards north but you are walking towards either east, west or south. You are never going to reach your desired place. Similarly there are many directions in your life to roam about here and there but there is only one direction that will lead you towards success. That is the direction of growth and progress in every step of your life. Neglect the trifles and follow the path of Growth. Whatever you are doing now should be directly or indirectly related to your dream Goal.

11. Tarcking your Progress

Tracking the progress can be used to keep your motivation level up. Tracking can be classified in three ways.

A girl writing in her diary tracking progress
Tracking her progress

1. Tracking with respect to time

Keep a record on how much time you have spent in each classified task. Watch, is it increasing or decreasing, which work you need more attention, which work is taking maximum time and plan how to reduce it.

2.Tracking with respect to Quantity

Keep a journal to watch the quantity of product and services you have offered to the world. Watch weather it is decreasing or increasing. Make a weekly graph to track these changes. Modify your strategy to increase your production every week.

3. Tracking with respect to Quality

Develop some criteria to judge the quality of products and services. It is better to ask the people who uses your products and services. Establish a quality control department where you can measure and approve methods to improve the quality during and after the processing of that product.

Bottom line :

If you wants to change your personality then don’t focus on changing a fixed habits one by one, change everything suddenly and spontaneously. Your time starts now. After all present time is in your hand. Please like, comment, share and Subscribe

How to Reduce the Time to be Successful in Life?

According to Malcolm Gladwell’s book Outliers, mastery in a field takes approximately ten thousand hours of practice. That necessitates a level of consistency and discipline in terms of showing up and practicing on a daily basis.

Let us consider the above statement to be true.
Now, If you spend 10 hours per day to learn a new skill then in a year you are giving 3650 hours ( ie 365*10 hours) for it. So it will roughly take around 3 years (ie 3650*3=10950 hours) of consistent practice for 10 hours per day to achieve mastery over that field.

So if you spend 5 hours per day in it you will be a master in 6 years. But spending 5 hours/ is practically feasible. I have read an interview of an IAS Topper who used to spend 5 hours/day in his deep studies from his childhood. So if you learn something from your early ages of life you don’t have to spend a lot of time per day to achieve mastery over a specified field.

As soon as you become master over the field, you will expect to get positive results. But first you have to advertise your skill, so that people would recognise your mastery. This would again take around three years of consistent advertisement to become a good advertiser and marketer of your skill. Again you have to devote 10 hours per day to develop the skill of marketing and advertisement.

So our life demands 6 years of consistent work to be highly successful in any field. We have to remember that there is no shortcut to success. More you practice more you will be confident over yourself.

Repetition is Key Factor of Consistency

As a result, repetition is the key to consistency. It’s all about doing the same things over and over again, getting input from them, and making adjustments to help you stay on track while you move towards your target. And that, in essence, is the difference between success and failure in every area of endeavor, as well as the secret to achieving high levels of success.

So far, I’ve learned that I need to be more careful in my life and company, and that I need to take consistent action every day. And, as I’ve discovered, every time I stop, it’s far more difficult to restart. Consistency provides order to your day, allowing you to be more productive and effective. You actually know what you need to accomplish.

Although we hear of instant success stories, the majority of success stories are not like that. Blood, sweat, and tears have gone into them. As well as continuity. You need the splash of consistency in the recipe of life.

You can make a consistency calender Template shown below to track your consistency.

A griddled box showing tick and cross marks
A Consistency Calender Template

Calculate your consistency percentage

Let,

✔️ = number of days your daily mission was completed
❌ = number of days Your daily mission remained uncompleted

Then
Consistency (%)
= ✔️ /(✔️+❌) *100
In in the above calendar template
Consistency (%)
=26/30*100=86.7%
➡️ excellent consistency level

If the consistency percent is:
Above 85 ➡️ excellent consistency level
70 to 85 ➡️ It is good but requires improvement
Below 70 ➡️ very poor consistency level, you have to work really hard to reach a respectable consistency level.

Choosing a Tight Growth Structure

But consistency without growth is just like attending an office job for last 10 to 20 years without any type of innovation in it. Everyone says “Be creative.” But how? You have to devote sometime everyday on trying to do something new in your own field. This inturn will boost your growth structure. Otherwise you will follow the same plan, same action and you will get same result as before. After 3 years you will realise that you are in the same place as you were 3 years back but you were highly consistent in those times.

Even if you follow a successful man and do the same things like him, 99% chance is that you will be a damm failure. Why this happens? This is due to lack of growth and creativeness inside you. You only watched external talent of that man but you are unaware of his inner qualities and capabilities. You will never be able to copy someone’s inner talents. So it is better to create your own internal talents.

How to Grow your Internal Talents Unconsciously?

Everything is created in the mind of a human being then it is created in the outer world. So creativity lies inside our mind. If you search it in the outer world you will never reach your correct destination. To develop creativity and growth do this.

A) Think, Experiment, Act and be Ready to Face Failure

My mind is not sharp then how can I think creatively? Firstly you have to understand that you are thinking to do something differently not creatively. Suppose you write with your right hand but today you tried to write with your left hand. Similarly in your professional field you have to try to do things differently. Here are few steps that can boost up your creativity.

1.Think and Imagine

Think any process to do it differently and imagine that different process is beneficial to you. Then imagine how you are going to experiment and take massive action. This imagination and thinking should not be vague, but it should be realistic and practically feasible.

2. Experiment

Take a baby step to check the process you selected is working otherwise rethink and make modification in your plan and again perform the experiment in a different way till you get somewhat positive result out of it.

3. Massive Action

Now take massive actions to complete your project / process because experimenting in small scale is a completely different process than doing it practically in larger scale.

4. Rethink and Modify

At first failure is certain. Be prepared mentally not disturb your emotional intelligence at failure. Failure is natural and success comes after a series of failure. So what to do? Rethink and modify your plan and try again. If you are not going to modify your plan, it is obvious that you are going to to get the same result as before.

5. Apply it Frequently

Apply this technique on as many processes as possible one by one. When you have mastered this technique with regular practice on different objectives then you have attained quality to make things bigger and better or indirectly became creative by nature along with quality to grow something for better.

B) Learn How to Prioritise the Work Schedules

We all have a habit of doing unnecessary and useless work first. No matter how efficient you are you will reach nowhere after completion of 3 years if you can’t move away from the clutches of this habit.

Now, I will discuss in brief how to prioritise your work. Look at the diagram very carefully.

Priority wise distribution of work in two by two table
Dividing the work according to priority

According to the above diagram distribute your work accordingly. Your first priority will be P1, Second will be P2 and third will be P3. If you have completed P1, P2 and P3 then only invest time on P4 otherwise reject P4 completely.

Prioritising work is an art. You can prioritise it in your mind but the best way is to write on a piece of paper or hang a written work schedule on the wall. If you search the net, you will find plenty of techniques on how to prioritise your work schedule. You will find all the techniques are correct but administrating yourself to follow these techniques is the key factor that determines the degree of achievement you want to accomplish.

How to follow the prioritised work schedule easily

In this context I am not going to discuss how to prioritise but I would like to share some tips on how you can follow the prioritized work schedule easily.

1.Create Daily Mission of Work Schedule

Long term work schedules are difficult to follow because we don’t exactly know about when and how the project will complete. Past has gone forever and future is not in our hand, we only have power to control our present. Creating a daily mission to complete some specified jobs on regular basis is better than creating a weekly, monthly and yearly schedule. You can correlate your daily mission with long term schedules at the end of the day. Also Create Your daily mission work Schedule on the previous day just before when you go to bed.

2. Selection of Work

Don’t make your daily schedule too long. Select 4 or 5 tasks/ day that would need 1 hour each to complete. Otherwise you will lose interest over the work after few days.

3. Mention time needed to complete the work

This is the most important thing. For each task allot the time within which you want to complete the task. Otherwise you will lose focus over the job to be done.

4. Best Time to Start

I can do anything I want in the current moment. You can’t exactly predict what will happen after 2 hours. Don’t procrastinate to start. Starting a task means that you have reached half your destination. So best time to start is to start now.

5. Follow Pomodoro Technique

Francesco Cirillo developed the Pomodoro Technique in the late 1980s as a time management technique. It employs a timer to divide work into intervals of 25 minutes, with short rests in between. After the tomato-shaped kitchen timer Cirillo used it as a university student, each interval is called a pomodoro, from the Italian word for “tomato.” He had also written a book on Pomodoro technique, that you can buy at Amazon.

Books shown by a magnifying glass
To Buy the book from Amazon click here

There are six steps in the original technique:

1.Choose a task to complete.
2.Set the pomodoro timer to 25 minutes
3. Concentrate on the task in hand.
4.When the timer rings and goes off, stop working and take a short break (5–10 minutes).
5. If you have fewer than three pomodoros, return to Step 2 and repeat until all three pomodoros have been completed.
6.Take the fourth pomodoro after the first three have been completed, and then take a long pause ( 20 to 30 minutes). Return to step 2 after the extended break is over.

If you want to increase your productivity then go to the Play Store by clicking this picture below and download Pomodoro timer

A Tomato's picture showing app in Google Play Store
Pomodoro timer in Google Play Store

6. Don’t follow too compact schedule

A marathon racer runs slowly but steadily as he has to run miles after miles, whereas a 100 meter racer applies his full strength to run in a completion. You have to become a long racer to complete your task. Too much overload of work will make you tired and you will lose interest over the subject resulting in quitting the selected project.

You should make a comfortable plan to be successful in long run. Big successes are achieved only by consistent adding of unlimited short run successes. Make your Daily Mission easy and realistic so that you are able to complete it with ease along with maintaining a good level of consistency.

How Time to Succeed Reduces?

When you were developing the habit of making things better and bigger through your thinking and imagination then you were unconsciously developing the habit of doing it faster. So the time to succeed reduces when you apply the above mentioned techniques in your personal and professional fields.

Conclusion:

Why Time to Succeed Reduces by this Technique?

Actually what is it ? It is a practical self learning process. Whenever you have faced difficulty to solve a practical puzzle, you have solved it through your thinking process thus making your mind adaptable to any odd circumstances. Any acquired skill reduces the time to accomplish its Goal. Creativity means a mind that has developed it own skills but it widely differs from any other person in this world.

A letter to the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee (Part 1 Letter, Part 2 Action)

Part 1 : The Letter Sent to the Chief Minister

I have written this letter to The Chief Minister after analysing this real incident.

To
The Honorable Chief Minister

Sub : Irregularities galore in flood love relief distribution in Asansol

Respected Madam,

Trinomul congress leaders face ire of people in the front of MLA’s House. Distribution of flood relief commodities to the flood affected households,  was riddled with several gaps as could be visible from the protests and complaints from the localities.

Real Email showing the letter
A SCREEN SHOT OF E-MAIL SEND

With no proper survey carried out about the actual number and identification of sufferers, the distribution of relief material for flood affected people is being carried out till date. The distribution mode is in the hands of party cadres who made many irregularities as possible.

Many residents, flood affected as well as unaffected, who have not received any relief are left seething with anger.

At some locations such as Hajinagar, residents complained to MLA about it but party cadres ignored or Mr MLA has taken the matter too lightly and the cadres carried on their partiality of distribution of those commodities.

At several locations, people’s ire was directed towards the TMC leaders, who, they alleged, were getting the relief distributed to their own supporters and followers.

Majority of flood affected persons are raising questions about them not receiving any relief commodity.

In ward no 25, distribution of relief was only to few families, whereas there were more than 500 families affected by floods.

Residents of majority of flood affected areas expressed anger that the local leaders were ensuring relief only to their kin.

The local leaders, had taken their mobile phone numbers but no relief commodities were distributed among them.

Distribution had also been done at several houses which had not suffered any loss due to floods. At such locations too, the relief distribution was limited to select few, which left many others disgruntled.

Party Cadres under the condition of anonymity, refused to admit that the whole scheme for distribution of relief has been a botched up operation.

We have come to know about several instances where the genuine victims had not got any relief, but those who have not lost anything in the floods were given commodities more than what one family requires.

Conclusion :

In this area, your Image in the mind of people is so high that you are next to almighty. I too have a high degree of respect for you.
So I beg not to crush your Image due to these irresponsible cadres.

I request you shift the distribution operation to some responsible person who will be a real real real representative of your’s. Please take necessary action.

Your’s faithfully

How to Trade with No Confusion?

In the previous article I have discussed how to choose a stock to make long term investment. But these stocks can also be used for short and medium term investment.

For a beginners it would be wise to invest in long term rather than short term. Learning is the key that will determine weather one will make profit in share market or not. Learn technical analysis and all the terminology related to a company’s growth before making any decision to buy or sell. Following the news and knowing the company’s net profit, assets and liabilities is not enough to know the future direction of price movement. One should also have a sound knowledge of technical analysis to make profit in the volatile share market.

Use 2 or at the most 3 indicators at a time.

First of all one has to understand that more the number of indicators employed in the analysis of share price, more you will be confused. You can’t reach to a right decision by using too many indicators and criteria to buy or sell a share. There are thousands of indicators and oscillators in the vast ocean of technical analysis topic. It is purely a research work that will include or exclude the indicators for reaching a correct decision. Also, according to Pareto principle, 2 indicators out of 10 will give right signal. So it is better to exclude those eight indicators that has high degree of power to create a confusion in your mind.

My extensive research has included only two indicators to determine the future direction of price movement of a stock. These indicators are

1. Trendline

2. 14 Period Stochastic oscillator

Drawing a trendline requires  experience but  it is not so difficult to learn and it gives right signal with 95% accuracy. My analysis of 14 period stochastics oscillator is somewhat different from the inventor of this oscillator that again makes this indicator to give 95% correct indication.

In this article, I am going to use some of the terminology that are unfamiliar for those who rarely read articles of technical analysis of stock market. But I will try to keep it as simple as possible. Before going to the actual analysis, I will like to share about the basic knowledge of trend, especially with beginners.

What is a trend?

The ultimate direction of price movement of a share in a specified time period is called a Trend.

Classification of trend

Classification on the basis of direction of price movement

Share prices move in 3 directions, so it can be classified according to the direction of trend.

1. Up Trend

Whatever may be the fluctuations in the share price, ultimately the price of share rises.

Monthly chart of nifty 50 showing up Trend

2. Down Trend

Whatever may be the fluctuations in the share price, ultimately the price of share falls.

3. Sideways Trend

Whatever may be the fluctuation in the share price, ultimately the price remains in a horizontal narrow region.

Daily chart of Steel Authority of India Limited, showing sideways trends
Daily chart of Steel Authority of India Limited, source Economic Times of India

Classification on the basis of time

Another type of classification of a trend is on the basis of time.

1.Long Term Trend

When a trend lasts for a very long period of time.

2. Medium Term Trend

When a trend lasts for medium period of time.

3. Short Term Trend

When a trend last for a short period of time.

4. Very Short Term Trend

When a trend last for a Very short period of time.

Strength of a trend

Long term trend is more powerful than medium term trend and medium term trend it is more powerful than short term trend.

If long term trend is showing an upward movement but medium term and short term Trend is showing downward movement, then the medium and short term Trend is ultimately going to reverse from downward movement to upward movement. This is because long term trend is more powerful than medium and short term trend.

Classification of Charts

Classification of charts with respect to time

Now, Charts can be classified in the following groups

1.Long term chart (say, monthly chart)

2. Medium term chart (say, weekly chart)

3. Short term chart (say, daily chart)

4. Very short term charts (say, hourly, half hourly, 15 minute, 5 minute, 2 minute, 1 minute charts)

These very short term charts are generally used by intraday traders.

How to know the direction a trend

There are many methods to know the direction of the current trend. But here I will suggest an easy method to know the direction of the trend.

1. Determining the direction of long term Trend

To know the direction of long term trend display monthly chart over your screen. Just below the monthly chart plot 14 period monthly stochastics. Also plot a horizontal line over stochastics chart at the level of 50.

Analysis

1. If the fast stochastics line is above 50, then the long term trend is upward.

2. If the fast stochastics line is below 50, then the long term trend is downward.

2. Determining the direction of medium term Trend

To know the direction of medium term trend plot weekly chart over your screen. Just below the weekly chart plot 14 period weekly stochastics. Also plot a horizontal line over stochastics chart at the level of 50.

Analysis

1. If the fast stochastics line is above 50, then the medium term trend is upward.

2. If the fast stochastics line is below 50, then the medium term trend is downward.

3. Determining the direction of short term Trend

To know the direction of short term trend plot daily chart over your screen. Just below the daily chart plot 14 period daily stochastics. Also plot a horizontal line over stochastics chart at the level of 50.

Analysis

1. If the fast stochastics line is above 50, then the short term trend is upward.

2. If the fast stochastics line is below 50, then the short term trend is downward.

A daily chart showing the behaviour of stochastic oscillator
Stochastic below 50/ above 50

Determining the direction of very short term trend (used by intraday traders)

To know the direction of very short term trend plot hourly chart over your screen. Just below the hourly chart plot 14 period hourly stochastics. Also plot a horizontal line over stochastics chart at the level of 50.

Analysis

1. If the fast stochastics line is above 50, then the very short term trend is upward.

2. If the fast stochastics line is below 50, then the very short term trend is downward.

When to buy ?

When the below mentioned conditions are fulfilled by a stock, one can execute order to buy

1. Long-term trend should be up – In monthly chart, 14 period stochastics should be above 50

2. Medium term trend should be up – In weekly chart, 14 periods stochastics should be above 50

3. Short term trend should be up – In daily chart, 14 periods stochastics should be above 50

4. 1 hour chart is one of the strongest chart for intraday trading. Next we will watch movement of stochastics in one hour chart.

Buy signal

When 14 period stochastics of hourly chart moves from below 50 to just above 50, execute trade order to buy.

Sell signal and / or Stop loss signal

When 14 period stochastics of hourly chart moves from above 50 to just below 50, execute trade order to square up your trade.

A word of caution

Don’t worry or make drastic change in decisions, if stochastics oscillator moves above 80 (ie overbought territory) or fall below 20 (ie oversold territory). If you watch closely maximum price movement occurs in overbought or oversold territory. Also neglect the crossover of fast and slow stochastics (ie K% and smooth D% crossovers) as it shows numerous false signals. You have to follow the average line of stochastic oscillator

Basic disciplines to be maintained for option trading

1. Strike price selection : The strike price should be close to the actual share price and it should have high open interest with high number of contracts traded. In technical terms, select at the money contracts with high open interest.

2. No trading should be done in the last week of expiry date of that option.

3. No reversing of trade immediately after suffering a small loss.

4. Before ordering a new trade, plan where to make a stop loss. Always remain strict with yourself to order stop loss according to your plan. Best way is to give stop loss order along with the trade order

4. Never trade against the direction of long-term or medium term trend as prices will ultimately and suddenly start following medium and long term trend.

Latest Investment Strategy of 2021

How to take calculated risk in share market?

Investing in stock market is a dangerous thing but more you take risk more you will gain… this is true if you take a calculated risk. If you  recklessly take decisions you are bound to be a loser. In this post I will show you how to take calculated risk with very little chance of of losing.

Volatile market

Share market is so volatile that you can’t take any short term decisions. Any change in political and economical situation of our country will adversely affect the share price. You won’t be knowing when a negative news would suddenly destroy your investment plans. This is the reason why 99% of general public who are investing are losers. But institutional investors and big brokers are generally making a good profit. What is their strategy?

Inefficiency of technical analysis in short term

Technical analysis predicts future price movement based on past price movements. It is based on probability of occurrence of events. It is not a sure shot thing. It only shows the current trend is up or down. All the indicators in technical analysis of share market can’t predict the exact point of future trend reversal. It will confuse you, and you won’t be able to have faith on it if your investment is based on technical analysis.

Short term and long term Trend

You have selected a good company and investing your money by analysing long term and short term Trend. But there is no guarantee that long term Trend will not reverse suddenly. If long term trend reverses against you, then you are going to be a big loser. If you want to make money in short term trend analysis then you  are a common people who always make mistakes to become rich overnight.

The only one way to invest in share market

The only one way to invest in share market is by selecting 10 best stocks of the market and make long term investment. But what are the best stocks of the market? If you ask experienced brokers about the best stocks of the market then different brokers will guide you differently and selection of stocks will vary from person to person. The experienced brokers too will misguide you as they themselves don’t know when the trend will reverse.

How to select stocks to invest in long run

Analysing Nifty 50’s long term Trend

Let’s analyse Nifty 50 for 18 years as shown below
The value of nifty on 2003 was 934 and current price of nifty is over 13000. Now look at the graph, it shows basic trend of Nifty is always up and it has maintained its upward Trend for last 18 years. But unfortunately Nifty is not a stock, but it is an index of a group of stocks.

Closing price chart of Nifty with 50 month moving average
Nifty 50 monthly closing price chart, reference Economic Times of India

The above graph is showing Nifty index’s monthly closing price in y axis and month & years in x axis. The red line is showing 50 month exponential monthly moving average.

If you observe the chart closely you will find the following observations:

1. Lowest closing price on 2003 – Rs 934

2. Closing price on 19 Dec 2020 – Rs 13320

3. Return in 18 years (13320/934)*100 =1426%= your money is multiplied 14 times

4. Long term Trend of Nifty is always up for last 18 years.

A Proof of Failure of Technical analysis

Technical analysis states when price falls below long term moving average, it becomes a strong indication to sell (ie strong bearish market) but if you look at the chat, as soon as the the price falls below 50 month moving average ( the red line) , it indicates upward movement of nifty 50 is going to start soon. This means Bearish market is in its last phase and bulls are ready to start their new journey. So, technical analysis will confuse you in multiple phases.

About Nifty 50 stocks

This part of the article is constructed with the reference of an article of Economic Times of India

How is a stock excluded/ included in the Nifty Index?

1. What is the criteria for inclusion in the benchmark Nifty index?

The stock should have traded for 90 percent of the observations at an average impact expense of 0.5 percent or less over the last six months and should also have at least twice the float-adjusted market capitalization of the current smallest index constituent. The business must be domiciled and traded on the stock exchange in India. To be eligible for inclusion, the stock must be available for trading in the futures and options section on the NSE. Other factors that are considered to include a stock in an index are market capitalisation, liquidity and trading frequency.

2. What gives rise to index exclusion?

In order to check the current index constituents twice a year, a list of new qualifying stocks is drawn up and if any adjustments are to be made, the smallest con stituents are withdrawn and new stocks are substituted. In the case of a spin-off, merger or takeover, exclusion can also happen.

3. When will the modifications take place?

On a semi-annual basis, the index is re-balanced and the ex adjustment gives four weeks before any adjustments to the index are made.

4. Who’s determining which stock is going to be part of Nifty?

As a group company of the National Stock Exchange of India, India Index Services and Products owns and operates 67 indices under the Nifty name, including the Nifty index. The Index Management Subcommittee has been created by IISL, which makes all decisions on index inclusions and exclusions.

5. After the changes are made, does the index level change?

No. If a stock is replaced by another stock in the index, the index divider is changed so that the adjustment in the market value of the index resulting from inclusion and exclusion does not change the amount of the index.

6. Will Nifty become part of Differential Voting Rights?

IISL revised its stock selection requirements in February 2016 to include Differential Voting Rights (DVRs) of shares in the index. The first DVR to be included in the Nifty was Tata Motors DVR, as a result of which it has 51 shares, but the number of companies remains at 50.

The Secret of 18 years of long term bullish run of Nifty 50

The persons controlling Nifty 50 are big investors and great influential persons. They have good relations with many institutional investors. They will never allow the High weightage stocks of Nifty 50 to fall permanently. After all share price is based on demand and supply. So they will manage more buyers to buy those High weightage stocks resulting in sharp increase in share price. So I can guarantee that Nifty will touch 1 Lakh in next 10 years.

Common analysis of the above charts

If you look at the above charts and compare it with Nifty index, it will look similar to Nifty index chart.

Rate of return

The rate of return of the investment is far more than Nifty index. It is more than 15 to 20 times of your investment done in 2003. Some of the shares has shown more than 50 times of your investment, specially private bank sector. IT sector(Infy and TCS) too has performed well. ITC and Unilever (FMCG sector) has given moderate gains.

Technical analysis

If you follow the rules of technical analysis, then you are bound to be a loser but if you look at the graph and 50 month moving average, you will realise best time to invest is “when price falls below 50 month exponential moving average – the red line”(just like Nifty index monthly chart)

How to make a safe investment?

Sector wise diversification

Top 10 high weightage shares of Nifty consists of three sectors

1.Bank and Finance sector

2. Tech Sector

3. FMCG sector

So invest one third of your capital in each sector. This will diversify your portfolio and keep your investment safe.

Modification of portfolio

Top 10 high weightage shares will change from time to time. But I would suggest you to modify your portfolio after 18 months. After 18 months include the top 10 highest weighted shares of Nifty index and exclude that are below top 10 ranking.

Invest and forget

Do not watch the share price everyday. This will create a panic inside you when share price starts to fall. It is better to invest and forget about the investment. Many news and rumours will arrive in front of you and it will force you to square up your trade.

Have faith

In the last 18 years these shares have performed miraculously. So 18 years long Trend will not be reversed so easily. News of many economic disbalance will arise in next 15 years. So don’t worry and have strong faith over your investment.

Conclusion

Share market is so volatile that anyone can be confused about the direction of trend. The direction of long term Trend is not so weak compared to short term Trend. So always make long term investment. Remember, no one can become a millionaire overnight. Please comment?

Why Successful People do Meditation Everyday – 14 Reasons

Why am I meditating?

Meditation has brought me comfort and serenity.

I have built a quiet and calm clearing that I can join in seconds whenever I feel the need. Regardless of where I am or what I do, I have a sanctuary. The world’s concerns do not threaten me anymore.

Except that this mental place is not fictional, and trolls and wild animals are not inhabited, it is as real as the world in which we live.

My brain has been literally rewired for pleasure, harmony and achievement since beginning my meditation habit. Here are only a few of the advantages:

I rarely get upset.

In unexpected ways, I find happiness.

I form deeper relationships and more easily develop friendships.

However the greatest advantage by far is that a strong, serene calm and peace steadily permeates every aspect of my life.

Happiness, Peace and calmness

Meditation was rare at first—

Like I was going out of a normal life and doing something that was strange to other people. However, I soon realised that this was not true-millions of individuals meditate and many successful individuals attribute to meditation part of their success.

Here’s confirmation that meditation isn’t for monks alone.

Who’s Meditating?

Oprah Winfrey, Hugh Jackman, Richard Branson, Paul McCartney, Angelina Jolie… Are they familiar with any of these names? These are all prominent meditators.

This list alone is powerful, but may be you need to persuade yourself a little more that meditation is something that you should do. Here is a brief list of famous individuals who rely on meditation:

Just a few popular athletes who rely on meditation to get them into the area are Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Misty-May Trainor and Derek Jeter. Here is a list of athletes who meditate more famously.

Meditation is practised by Rupert Murdoch, Russell Simons and Arianna Huffington. Here is a compilation of business executives who meditate who are more outrageously effective.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Eva Mendez are only a few more celebrities who make it a daily routine to meditate.

In the world, the most effective individuals meditate and there is a reason why. The efficacy of meditation is confirmed by research and has revealed an impressive variety of benefits.

How Meditation Rewires The Brain ?

At first, I couldn’t believe that my life was influenced so powerfully by a simple everyday meditation practise. So, I began doing research and devoured all of the meditation clinical studies that I could find. I was shocked at what I discovered-it turns out that meditation can change almost any aspect of your life.

Here are fourteen scientifically established ways in which meditation for pleasure, harmony and achievement rewires the brain.

1: Meditation decreases anxiety

Feeling the world’s weight on your shoulders? In reducing stress and anxiety, meditation is extremely successful. One study showed that when exercised over a span of three months, mindfulness and Zen style meditations significantly minimise stress. Another research found that the density of brain tissue associated with fear and concern is practically decreased by meditation. If you want your tension to plummet, the solution might be meditation.

2: The sense of well-being is strengthened by meditation

Do you want to fill your life with energy and happiness? Meditation on Mindfulness enhances your internal functioning and increases your sense of well-being in the process. Yoga and tai chi have also been found to do this. According to studies, when practised regularly, they have significant therapeutic effects and increase the quality of life.

3: Meditation strengthens your sense of connection and compassion

Feeling a bit distant from those around you? Try meditation for compassion. Meditation on lovingkindness (sometimes referred to as Metta) is a meditation focused on compassion that improves brain areas associated with mental processing and empathy. It also increases the sense of connectedness to society. Not a guy who hugs? After trying Metta, you could just become one!

4: Meditation promotes concentration

Will you like to apply razor-edge concentration to your life? Research shows that meditation increases awareness and enhances the capacity to perform tasks that require concentration. One study examined a number of different forms of meditation, including Transcendental Meditation, Vipassana, Tibetan Buddhist Meditation, Sufi Meditation, and Hindu Meditation, and found that they all enhance concentration to varying degrees. I used to think coffee was the perfect way to concentrate, and I’m just meditating now.

5: Meditation makes relationships stronger

Want your relationships to be strengthened? It has been shown that meditation increases the capacity to connect to others. What? How? It enhances your capacity to empathise, and it strengthens your ability to pick up on signals that show how others feel. Meditation also enhances your emotional health, making you less likely in your life to be affected by any negative individuals.

6: You are made more innovative by meditation

Have you ever felt that any more inspiration should be used? According to different research, meditation enhances the imagination. Not unexpectedly, famous artists such as Yoko Ono, David Lynch and Marina Abramović make meditation a big part of their lives.

7: Meditation strengthens memory

Meditation will help, whether you want to become a memory champion or just want to recall the name of that guy who works down the hall. Research has shown that it increases your ability to memorise things and store new knowledge and consolidate it.

8: Meditation increases the ability to make choices

In order to help them do their jobs better, high-powered executives turn to meditation for a cause. Studies have found that by optimising the functioning of the decision-making centres of your brain, both mindfulness meditation and Transcendental Meditation help you make better decisions. Give meditation a try if you want to start nurturing your inner boss.

Meditation allows individuals to resolve addictions

9. Meditation allows individuals to resolve addictions

You know someone who’s been dealing with addiction? One of meditation’s most beautiful results is that it can help individuals conquer strong addictions. One interesting study showed that Vipassana meditation can be remarkably effective in helping people to resolve alcohol and drug-related addictions, and different forms of meditation have been found to have similar effects.

10: Cardiovascular wellbeing is enhanced by meditation

Do you want to get some of the fitness benefits by sitting in one place? Researchers have found that your cardiovascular health is improved and your risk of heart disease is minimised by both mindfulness and Transcendental Meditation.

11: The immune system is strengthened by meditation

Do you get sick more often than you’d like? Believe it or not, a number of different forms of meditation have been shown to improve the human immune system and make you more resistant to viruses and illnesses, from mindfulness to yoga. Yeah take it the cold season.

12: Meditation allows you to discover “flow”

Did you ever feel absolutely, totally immersed in the moment? You may have been playing a sport or drawing a picture, and the world around you seemed to just disappear. This is called “flow,” which is a special condition where when you meet a task ideally matched to your ability, the human mind is working in total harmony with itself. According to study, meditation will help you achieve this incredible state of mind.

13: Physical and emotional discomfort is minimised by meditation (better than morphine)

Perhaps the most remarkable advantage of meditation is that it has the potential to help relieve emotional and physical pain than opioids. Yep, you read that correctly. That’s quite an incredibly scientific discovery.

14: Meditation brings you to enlightenment

The aim of meditation is typically to achieve Enlightenment, or a state of complete happiness and comprehension. By meditating, may you achieve enlightenment? Who’s going to say? A lot of people say yes, but science doesn’t have an answer yet.

Be the best version of yourself by self-discipline

Meaning of self-discipline

Discipline means behavioural order or code. Self-discipline refers to the very essential ability to control one’s own feelings. Self-Discipline contributes to overcoming one’s own limitations.

Life isn’t life without self-discipline. We need laws to guide us. To our elders, we have to be polite. Our seniors must be obeyed.

It’s significance

For success in life, self-discipline is most important. If we are at school or at home, discipline is a must. If we are in the workplace or in the playground, it is equally important. Without discipline, our lives, our culture, our country and even the universe will go astray. Therefore, some kind of discipline is needed everywhere. Order occurs in Nature. Even a small disorder contributes to confusion in the world of nature.

The formative days in schools and colleges: In any walk of life, self-discipline has to be taught. The best time for it is childhood. Quickly and effortlessly, the young mind discovers things. Students are encouraged to behave well at school. Their elders are taught to honour them. And in the playground, boys are taught to follow the rules of the games. Thus, student days are the most formative time in which it is possible to understand the importance of self-discipline.

Indiscipline evils

Without self-discipline, a man is just like an animal. His life and behaviour are becoming aimless. In today’s era, there is a great evil in self-discipline. In every walk of life, it is rising. The young and the elderly both do acts of lawlessness. Crimes and robberies today are on the rise. It seems like individuals have forgotten the importance of self-discipline. Over-crowding on buses and trains is very popular in India. It is also a common trait to travel without tickets. The talk of the city is student indiscipline.

Indiscipline causes

A major cause of indiscipline and discontent is lack of jobs. The problem is made even worse by overpopulation. Overcrowding induces indiscipline in schools and universities. Ultimately, poverty leads to extreme disorder, anger and indiscipline.

Self-Discipline, in truth, is a positive thing. It develops personality. It cultivates power and unity. It induces a feeling of cooperation. So Self-Discipline has to be something from childhood. In life, it is a secret to success. The higher the sense of self-discipline, the better it is for individuals and the country.

Developing the habit of self discipline

For those only starting out in life (and everyone else!), one of the most critical life skills to cultivate is the ability of self-discipline.

It’s a power house

I began to exercise and eat better, meditate and write more when I developed some self-discipline, I quit smoking and ran marathons, I started a blog, I read more and I worked earlier, I decluttered and transformed my finances. I am far from ideal, but I have learned a great deal.

But it creates problems if you don’t develop self-discipline: health issues, distraction, procrastination, financial problems, clutter, stuff piling up and distracting you, and much more.

So creating is such an essential skill, but most people don’t know where to begin. The purpose of this article is to help you get started.

I’m writing it for my kids, and for anyone else who would like to grow a superpower.

Finding inspiration

The first question is how are you even encouraged to get started? Most of us don’t want to think about our lack of discipline, let alone taking a number of steps.

The inspiration for me came from knowing that what I was doing wasn’t working. Ignoring the issues has only made matters worse. Attempting to be disciplined but doing it half-assedly just led me to feel bad about myself. Being totally undisciplined caused me a lot of pain.

You can establish a whole-hearted intention to stop harming yourself once you understand that you’re causing yourself pain. You might think, “All right, that’s enough to make my life worse.” Let’s try to make it a little worse.

You should tell yourself, with that in mind, that you are going to:

Begin to take small steps to make things easier.
Do the stuff that hurt less for you.
Push yourself a little bit into pain, but over time you can get better at this.
With some practise, get good at self-discipline.
When you train, keep these points in mind, as you get the desire not to practise, and as you make mistakes and then want to give up.

More on positive motivation

Wanting to assist others

For example, if you get better at exercising or healthy eating, you can support your elderly parents who need to do these things better. If you get better at not procrastinating on your life’s job, you can support more people with the meaningful work.

Life appreciating

Here on Earth, we have a limited time and the life we have is a blessing. We don’t completely understand the blessing we have when we procrastinate and give in to constant distractions, and don’t make the most of our time. Instead, by being present, being thankful, and being intent on how we spend our time, we will enjoy it.
We will begin to practise with these motivations, or whatever reasons move you the most.

Small acts

To get better at self-discipline, one of the most important things you can do is to take small acts. Tackling huge, intimidating projects can seem overwhelming … so don’t. Alternatively, approach basic acts, stuff so small that you can’t say no.

Got to do any taxes? Only do this for 5 minutes. Want to go running? Only 10 minutes of running. Have a paper on which to work? Only do the paragraphs for the first few. Want to go decluttering? Find just 5 things to declutter.

If you concentrate on small tasks, and split bigger projects into small tasks, you’ll get better at self-discipline.

Training for unfavourable situations

One of the reasons we don’t have self-discipline is because of the difficult, painful stuff that we flee from. We’d prefer to do simple, comfortable, familiar stuff.

So we flee to distractions, videos, games instead of facing our challenging, uncomfortable projects or finances. Our lives are destroyed by hiding from discomfort.

What you should say to yourself is that you have finished running. You are going to drive, a little at a time, into discomfort, and get good at being uncomfortable. Another of your superpowers is this. You are OK when others run (even if it’s not always fun).

Pushing yourself into pain, one little task at a time. See how it looks. See that this isn’t the world’s end. See that you are awesome enough to cope with pain, and that it is well worth the effects.

Keep impulses in mind

You’re going to have the desire to stop doing something complicated, or to put it off for now. They don’t serve you well those impulses.

Alternatively, build knowledge about certain desires, and see that you do not have to obey them.

To schedule a time for yourself where you can do nothing but X is a good way to do that. For starters, you can do nothing but write your book chapter for the next 10 minutes (or exercise, meditate, etc.). You can clearly see it when you have the desire to procrastinate or run into distractions, since you are either writing a novel, or you are not. If you have the desire to convince yourself that you can’t pursue it you will have to write a chapter in your book or sit there and do nothing.

The reason it works is that you set up a time where you do nothing but that one job, and you can see your temptation to run away. Use this to learn to keep your impulses in mind, and to see that you don’t have to obey them.

Training for intervals

You can prepare yourself using interval training if you incorporate the above items into a system of bursts, or intervals:

Set your aim to exercise self-discipline and no longer harm yourself.
Set a mission on which to concentrate (writing, drawing, strength training, meditating, etc).
Set a 10 minute timer. Also, five minutes is perfect if 10 is too long. At 10 minutes, don’t go longer until you get strong, then increase to 12 and eventually 15. I don’t think I need to go beyond 15-20 minutes, even though I kick my ass.
Do nothing but sit there and watch your urges, or drive into your discomfort by doing the job.
Give yourself a 5-minute break when the timer goes off.

Repeat the actions

You can practise for a number of cycles, or for an hour or two, theoretically. Take a longer break then, and then do another series of intervals.

This kind of interval training is great, because it’s not that intense, you just train yourself in pain and watching impulses, and you can get a lot done this way.

Focus on others

Dig into deeper motivation when you find yourself struggling: doing your work/exercise/meditation, etc not for yourself but for others.

For example:

I’m writing this article to support my children and anyone else who could benefit from it.
I work out to be safe, not only for myself but for my children and others who may benefit, as an example.
Not only do I meditate for my own healing and peace, but so that I can help others find their own healing and peace.
To inspire others, you may draw or write or play music.
You might benefit in each instance… but you’re also doing it to benefit others. And this advantage is far more motivating for others than doing something just for yourself.

Try it… try to do someone else’s difficult task. Tell them that you would do it for them in advance, and keep them in mind while you do it. See if you are getting more inspired.

Success and failure victories

A big mistake many individuals make is that they screw up and get discouraged by it. They feel bad about messing up. This causes them to give up and not want to think about self-discipline being created.

Here is the thing: failure is a success, honestly.

Failure means you’ve been trying. So it was a victory from the beginning.

But it also means that you’ve learned something now you know that what you’ve been doing didn’t really work. You can try something a little different next time. Add more responsibility, do it at a different time, unplug your wireless router, get a buddy for a workout, whatever. You have new knowledge because of your mistake. You’ve grown, and that helps you to change yourself.

Failure constitutes a success. Often, achievement is a win. You should see it as an opportunity to learn, to improve, to get better no matter what your result is.

Drop any hopes of being perfect at this and just keep trying.

Instead of letting it get you discouraged, see it as a win the next time you struggle at whatever you are trying. No matter what then keep going, because giving up is just going to hurt you even more.

Seeking aid from others

You aren’t alone in this. You have relatives, friends, strangers online who are willing to support you. By reaching out to the people around you and asking for their assistance, form a support team.

Lots of people miss this because their lack of discipline embarrasses them. They believe that shameful is the way they act. This isn’t real. We all behave like this really, but we’re just afraid to show each other that side. But the fact is if you show people your “dark side, they really love you more, they trust you more, they connect more to you. So don’t be afraid to communicate with others in a vulnerable way.

Find the confidence to ask for assistance. When you focus on getting yourself into pain and injuring yourself less then let yourself be helped.

How to Leave your Comfort Zone to be Successful

Stepping out of your comfort zone

Let’s face it in life, there will always be things that we fear. Some of us are scared of the obvious “biggies” such as heights, snakes, flames or flights. Many of us, though, develop concerns about things that shouldn’t impede us, but they sometimes do.

Are you afraid of rejection? Risk Taking? Failure? Successful?

All of us strive to build “comfort zones” around us: barriers between what makes us feel relaxed and awkward.

Comfort zones are not always bad

They can prevent us from doing anything stupid or reckless sometimes. However most frequently, our comfort zones are based on a conviction that may or may not be valid. If in the past you have encountered an especially painful rejection, you could build a comfort zone that will prevent you from sticking your neck out there and being rejected again.

The comfort zone itself in this case, is not the problem. The problem is the underlying conviction that you will be rejected again.

Just because in the past you’ve been rejected does not mean that in the future you will be rejected again. The unique comfort zone can lead you to behave in ways that are detrimental to your own life success.

You’re going to fear meeting new individuals, getting involved in relationships, or even applying for new jobs. Deep inside, you are going to expect part of you to be rejected again, and you are going to do everything you can to minimise the risk of that happening. Pain is not fun to feel, and how our minds stop it at all costs is incredible!

You may not even be conscious of any of your comfort zones. Take a look at your life right now as it is. Do you make as much money as you would like? Are you satisfied with the job?

Will you enjoy meeting and getting to know new people? Are you capable of setting and achieving new targets for yourself? If you responded yes to those questions, your comfort zones are probably not hindering you in any way.

You may have some problems to work through if you replied no to all of these questions.

Here is an easy way to find out if you are held back by your fears: make a list of the worst things you can imagine happening. What are the deepest fears you have? What things don’t you like in your life? Oh, and why?

Ask yourself why it is, if you don’t like meeting new people. What is the worst thing about meeting someone new that you can imagine happening? Be frank with yourself. You do not have to show anyone this list.

Once you know what you are truly afraid of, ask yourself what the consequences would be if your worst fear were to be realized. And could you live with those consequences? Using the rejection example again, what would be the consequences of being rejected again? Would you be able to live with that? I think you’ll be surprised at how small most of the consequences are, and how easily we could live with them if we had to.

Fear has a way of making itself much bigger in our minds than it is in reality! We work ourselves into a sweat, terrified of the “what ifs” — when in fact, the outcome would be no big deal really. As with most other things, we’d simply pick ourselves up and continue on our way.

Once you know what your fears are, and you understand and accept the consequences, immediately do the thing you fear most. Yes, that’s right, I’m encouraging you to step out of your comfort zones! Refuse to let fear control you.

Tell your anxiety, “Thank you for trying to protect me, but anyway I’m going to do it.” And then do it. Do it again then. And that again. You Would feel nervous the first few times you venture out of your comfort zone. Expect and accept that. The fear won’t disappear overnight. But after your mind realises that the anxiety is groundless, it will go away.

Now just because you are overcoming your fears and widening your comfort zone doesn’t imply that you should also become reckless. Between blindly jumping into the unknown and taking a calculated risk, there is a major difference.

Take a few minutes to think about the action you intend to take before proceeding, weigh the ramifications, and ask if you’re ready to embrace them. Go for it if you are. If you’re not, that’s great!

Don’t feel like you need to force yourself past what you would be prepared to consider. For some time, you can place the problem on the back burner and rethink it later.

The point is to avoid letting your choices be made by fear, and begin making them yourself. It will take some time to get used to this new way of thinking, but you’ll start challenging your fear naturally before long and stop letting it control you.

When that happens, the standards of achievement and satisfaction you will achieve are not told!

The zone of comfort: no anxiety or confusion permitted

I was motivated by the Convid19 panademic to write this blog about taking a little leap and learning new stuff. This needs that you get out of your zone of comfort. It applies to anxiety levels, the most scientific definition of what a comfort zone is. Any type of action that keeps you at a consistently low level of anxiety is your comfort zone You are used to everyday tasks that would not make you feel nervous and awkward, because they are part of your comfort zone. Although individuals frequently refer to ‘getting out of your comfort zone’ in terms of doing new stuff, it is possible to count something that increases your anxiety levels as being beyond that zone.

While anxiety is not something we are likely to be searching for, it can be unexpectedly helpful to have a little bit. To drive us to get our work done, or to boost our results, we sometimes need just a touch of anxiety. A scientific study found that output improved as anxiety levels grew when a task was very easy. However, elevated anxiety only improved to a certain extent when a task was more challenging, after which the combination of a difficult task and high anxiety caused performance to drop.

Uncomfortable uncertainty levels

The uncomfortable levels of uncertainty are responsible for much of the discomfort that comes from leaving your comfort zone. Uncertainty will make us respond to negative experiences more strongly. Even though we may come to like them over time, we are still more likely to react negatively to new stuff. Our comfort zones can effectively be made smaller by volatile social, political or economic circumstances. The more scared we are the smaller our comfort zone becomes and the harder it is to break out. Familiarity is relaxing and fun, so it’s no wonder we get our guard up with new stuff. It takes energy to try new stuff, so we are more likely to rely on old habits when we feel tired than to take a new chance.

5 reasons why moving out of your comfort zone is good

In the learning zone, you want to find the sweet spot and stop going so far out of your comfort zone that you enter panic mode. Some of the advantages of leaving the comfort zone are seen here.

1. It will help you to grow

When combined with the feeling of success, some anxiety and self-doubt can lead to personal development. This is why outdoor activities such as rock climbing or skydiving can be so exciting: they cause fear and discomfort, but when done, they give us a huge sense of achievement and raise our confidence levels.

2. Your comfort zone will expand

If your comfort zone is small, much of the time you will either be nervous or miss out on much of the fun that life has to bring. You’ll increase the amount of items you’re happy with by moving out of your comfort zone more often. As familiarity makes us more likely to enjoy something, you will also be able to enjoy more things in life, even if it turned us off at first.

3. Learning opportunities will increase

Doing new stuff motivates us and encourages us to learn
Novelty helps to boost the brain’s dopamine levels, which is part of the reward hub’ of the brain. The role of Dopamine focuses on encouraging us to go searching for rewards and that urge increases novelty. It has also been shown that novelty enhances memory and increases learning possibilities by making our brains more malleable.

4. It will improve your efficiency

You are not effective if you are too relaxed. We are looking for the middle ground where you are concerned, but where certain levels of anxiety are still manageable. You have effectively increased your comfort zone until you have acclimatised to the new level of anxiety.

5. It will be easier to harness creativity

We are motivated by discovering new experiences, mastering new talents, and opening the door to new ideas. In a way that nothing else does it educates us. Trying new things will lead us to focus on our old theories and where they conflict with our new experience, encourage us to learn more and question confirmation bias, our propensity to pursue only facts that we already agree with. Even in the short term, brainstorming, seeing old issues in a different light, and overcoming the obstacles we face with new energies can be improved by a positively unpleasant experience. I believe this definition fits my experience at the concert. This has given me a great deal of energy!

6 ways to leave your comfort zone

1. Doing daily stuff differently

To work, take a different path. Try a new restaurant without first reading the feedback. Go for a week or a month with a vegetarian. If the change you make is major or tiny, make a change on a day-to-day basis in the way you do stuff. Look for the viewpoint that comes, even if it is negative, from any transition. If things do not turn out the way you expected, do not be put off.

2. Taking time to take decisions

Often if you make fast decisions, slowing down is what it takes to make you uncomfortable. This is particularly true if fast thinking in your work or personal life is respected. Slow down, watch what’s happening, take the time to analyse what you see, and then step in. Often it will drive you out of your comfort zone just by defending your right to make an informed decision.

3. Trusting in yourself and making fast choices

Often making a snap decision is in order, just to get stuff going, if you are more comfortable considering all of the potential choices many times. Doing so will help you kickstart your personal ventures and teach your judgement to trust you. It will also show you that fast decisions as well as slow ones have fallout.

4. Beginning with small steps

Breaking out of your comfort zone takes a lot of bravery. If you go in with both feet, you get the same advantages as if you start slow, so do not be afraid to start slow. Identify your fears, and then, step by step, face them. It was not actually a fear of classical music; it was rather something to which I did not understand or feel connected. I took a step towards getting to know it and broadening my outlook.

5. Master in a new skill or language

There are many advantages to learning a foreign language, many of which apply to learning every new ability. Connect with individuals who inspire you or volunteer with an agency that does an outstanding job.

6. Travelling to new places

If you have been seeing the world from your front door all your life, you are missing out. Perhaps one of the best ways to expand your experiences is to explore new and interesting locations, and it does not have to be costly or hard to do.

What would you do to get out of your comfort zone?

Develop Habits to Grow ( 📈 ) Consistency with 0️⃣ Willpower

The Secret to Success is Continuity. Developing consistency is one of the keys to success in any region. Consistency of ideas and actions. It’s one of this year’s most valuable lessons I’ve learned. You will find that if you apply the theory of consistency to your trading, it has the power to take you to the next level of success you are finding with your trading.

One of the main things I teach to all my students is continuity. For the next few months, determine what your priorities are and work diligently to achieve them. Do something to work towards your objectives EVERY day. You’re going to find that this builds a habit which really helps develop momentum.

Consistency applies to habits. The acts we take every day are formed by behaviours. Action leads to results.

Build a definite plan to carry out your desire and begin to bring this plan into motion at once, whether you are ready or not.
There is initially a lot of resistance when you first alter your actions, because your brain is not used to functioning in this new way. But over time, the pathways in your brain literally start to change as you continually reflect on the new actions. Over time, when the new behaviour becomes a routine that is carried out with very little thought or effort, the momentum becomes easier to sustain.

My free time is a lot more scarce with two young kids than it used to be. So in order to make the most of my free time and improve my effectiveness, I had to establish consistency in my acts. Some of the new habits I have developed have been:

Per day, I set aside some times to inspect the markets, and I would not inspect them beyond those hours. Absolutely nothing is learned from monitor watching, in my opinion.

Every week, I set aside those moments to spend writing blog posts.
I shifted it to Sunday night for my market update, as this is a night we are normally home. As these are now arranged in advance, it reduces tension in my house as my wife can prepare in advance around this.
I made sure that each day I did anything to create my website. Most of the time, I spent 20 minutes writing a blog post or responding to emails before I went to sleep. But I was doing something at least, and building the momentum.

So how are you able to apply this to your company?
Begin to work on your daily journal. To fill this in with all your weaknesses from the previous week, set aside 30 minutes per week. Write down how things have behaved and how they have influenced you AND your feelings.

Management of time is something I teach. To perform certain tasks related to your company, set aside certain times per day / week.
These are just a few suggestions, but I’m sure there are a few more you can think of. So, note the following, when you think about the targets you want to set in 2021.

By setting up one habit at a time, success is achieved.

Focus on quality first not outcomes. You will work on the efficacy of your intervention later.

Via consistent action, habits are established.

How to develop permanent habits with  0️⃣ willpower ?

Replacing poor habits with positive habits is the best way to achieve success.

Imagine a moment when someone you loved was upset by your actions. How did you feel about that? Did your stomach render you sick? Did you feel like you were less of an individual?

I wanted to throw up when I first confronted my demons and looked in the mirror at the person I’d become.

I’ve been hung over from life. The only way to get over it was by efficient planning and target setting to modify my attitude and sweat it out.

The key-word is effective. My first step was to make a plan of action. I managed to come across a few habits in the process that ensured success.

Those habits meant that I would continue to do them until they became habits. Not only did they drive me to accomplish my goals, they smashed them to smithereens.

1. Avoid Giant step at first(☝️)

I used to leap head into my targets first. I’m sure you were there, excited about jumping into the deep end of the pool, and inspired.

Temper your arousal. Channel in careful preparation and continuity the desires. Giant actions, at least not in the beginning, are not sustainable.

You need a base ten times larger with behaviours firmly in place ten times longer to achieve a point where you can 10X your acts. Begin little, in other words.

Huge work in fits and starts is even worse than smaller but more reliable chunks over the long haul. Smaller is better in the case of habits.

It’s not just a theory. In 52 weeks, I managed to lose 50 pounds and used a one-minute trick to build a miracle morning of my own. Since emerging from bankruptcy, I used the concept of putting aside funds for investments. It has been used by other individuals to construct empires.

Typically, habits take between three and four months to develop. Small acts are simpler to preserve. One push up a day for four months is easy to do. It’s much tougher to work out five days a week at the gym for two hours a day, starting from ground zero at the same time.

Since they start out too high, most individuals struggle. They visit a gym and work out five days a week for two hours a day which rapidly drops to four, then three, then zero.

Although I have no problem working long hours when I get in the zone, in the beginning, it’s best to start tiny.

You can lift the workload once you’ve developed the habits. But you risk needless failure if you press too much.

2. Chaning (⛓️)Habits

When developing habits, there’s another trick you can use. Do not let yourself off the hook if you run out of time. To keep your chain running, behave in the smallest way. To your subconscious, your chain is vital.

If writing a page daily is your small action to develop a habit and you’re at the end of a long hard day, write a single sentence. Heck, if your eyelids sound like lead balloons, even a few words do.

The argument is that you shape habits if you can keep the chain going long enough no matter how trivial or small. Willpower becomes redundant once you develop a habit.

Your brain desires productivity. This is huge energy sucking on the wealth of your body. The brain of your lizard powers instinctive behaviour, the same section of the brain that sends intoxicated people home.

They get forced into your lizard brain once you’ve developed the habits. Not doing such things is harder than doing them, and the mind is free to concentrate on more immediate issues.

The trick is to keep going with the chain of tiny acts and then…

3. Considering 3️⃣ acts at a time

Most of the time, we become what you think of, and that’s the weirdest secret.

Act on the base of your routine with three strong foundations. Choose no more than 3 acts at a time. A split house is going to collapse.

Function for two to four months on that routine. Avoid the temptation to add more than three new behaviours, no matter how tempted you are. It’ll create the desire. It will build in your mind a positive picture.

You keep your interest high by doing less than you would do but doing it regularly. You’re focusing on doing better. You imagine both the action that is needed and the end result. You become the end product of that.

4. Attaching (🖇️) new actions to old ones

Don’t wait. Only be selective. Be intentional. And so the patterns pile up. To become your perfect self, behaviours should be key. Do any fundamental preparation if you’re not sure what your perfect self looks like.

You can only stack a new habit on top of the old one when you’re sure you’ve developed a habit, and no sooner than two months.

The glue for new habits is old habits. Routines are superglue-like. Attach your new actions to an existing routine when you first start. The older it is the better.

5. Getting started early ( 🌄)

Typically, when you take action in the morning, you get the most successful results. And don’t let the word fool you in the morning. Your morning, whether it’s 6 AM or 6 PM, is when you wake up.

It’s like supergluing your acts to lifelong patterns to add new habits to your’ morning’ routine. This produces strong associations of mindset.

You also get the added bonus of being intentional at the start of your day. Efficient mornings affect your mood. For your remaining waking hours, they set the tone.

6. Monitoring ( 👩‍💻 )

How do you know the chain length? What about the amount of habits that you have piled up? If you keep track, you won’t know.

Using whatever procedure you want. It could be a physical diary, Google Docs, your personal blog, or Fitbit. But it’s like sucker-punching yourself every time you try to develop a new habit if you don’t chart your progress in any way.

7. Practicing ( 🔁 )

Habits are unlike most skills that require conscious practise. Habits are automatically created. But usually those are the behaviours you want to avoid.

Positive, productive behaviours require deliberate contemplation. Otherwise you’ll get in the habit of ineffectively doing it.

The good news is that they need less attention once they’re created. But still, watch them so you can change your course when you hit a speed bump.

By thinking daily, weekly and monthly about your growth, the way to focus on your habits is. Have you got them done? Have you been intentional? Did you offer the effort and the attention required? Have you noticed flaws or failures and various methods to fix them?

It doesn’t take more than a couple of minutes per night, but you have to think. Otherwise you’ll risk developing an ineffective habit for a lifetime.

8. Maintaining journals ( 📒)

Scientific research indicates that with transparency, you are more likely to accomplish your objectives.

Journals are the accountability partner for a busy guy. In a pinch, they’ll do it. If you make them public, they’ll be better. But with individuals you know and trust, the best accountability partners are.

Mentors, mentors, and even help groups on Facebook can be productive at keeping you on track.

Don’t turn your sessions of transparency into storey time. Use them as truthful reflections of the method, instead. To prevent traps, use them as opportunities to find alternatives to challenges and maps.

I just gave you a roadmap for the development of permanent, productive habits. Are you going to stick it in a drawer and forget? Or are you going to use it to direct the life you want to live and supercharge it? Comment below

Approaches to Stop Struggling in Life

Struggling in life is something everybody manages with from time to time. If it’s relationship disputes, financial issues, or work-related problems, we may feel like everything is just piling on top of us.

The entire universe can seem to be against you, and no matter how hard you try, things just keep getting harder. I very well appreciate those feelings.

It may not be easy, but to help yourself resolve your challenges, there are numerous things you can do. In life, try these 11 ways to avoid struggling.

1. Know what you want to get

You will be motivated to drive through adversity by getting a good picture of what you want and where you want to be. If you don’t have a good reason for what you want, you’re not going to be as inspired.

In order to excel in life, you can not hold yourself as diligent and energised as you need to be. Defining what you want to accomplish will encourage you to be more patient and not find a way to conquer your burdens.

2. Recognise the problems

Sometimes we have not been honest in acknowledging “I’m struggling” in our minds. Perhaps reading this article is the first time you have acknowledged this to yourself. This is a fantastic first step that you are taking.

Release the feelings of insecurity and doubt that you have been experiencing. In a self-care book, you can write it down, or you can just say it out loud to yourself.

Let all the stuff you’ve been dealing with on the inside go out. You might feel a release of tension once you’ve accepted it.

You will start thinking in your head, “I am tired of struggling” after getting these stuff out. Then to end your issues, you should take one more step forward.

3. Modify your viewpoint

Life isn’t about what you’re going through at the moment. It’s also the way you frame what you feel. I know a lot from my past experiences with anxiety about this.

I dropped out of college twice because when I sat in a classroom, I could not cope with the overwhelming emotions I had. My head and neck were going to get tense, I’d feel like it was hard to breathe, and I’d think the worst was about to happen.

Via counselling and other educational videos, I discovered I could feel a bit better if I changed my outlook on what I was experiencing.

It didn’t always take away the pain I felt at the moment, but it helped me get through it. One mantra I like to keep in my mind is that I’m still going to be okay no matter what I go through in life.

You may also take the view that you are made stronger by the hardships you’re going through. When you push through more unpleasant times, the older you get, the more you know you can conquer virtually everything.

As this gloomy cloud of hopelessness over you, don’t look at the tough times you’re facing. Alternatively, try to see it as a bright light of potential to become more full as a person than you’ve ever been.

4. Modify your feeling pattern

One way you can change how you feel in your fights is to change your viewpoint. You can do so in other ways by doing things that energise you.

By using as much motivation as you can to keep going forward you can make it a little bit easier to overcome those challenges you are struggling with.

Hearing music you like, consuming foods that are good for you, or doing an exercise you like, can be some simple ways you can improve your emotions and blossom your energy.

Your emotions are not just something for which you’re trapped. Feelings are flexible. Adjusting them might not always be easy, but if you do it will help inspire you to move forward in life.

5. Make distinct choices

Nevertheless the argument is more critical here. Every day, we get into a normal routine of doing the very same things. And yet, we don’t stop asking why in life, we still feel like we have trouble with things.

Perhaps if we wanted to improve our decisions in life, there might be different outcomes that would reduce our challenges.

Let’s say you drive the same route every day to work, for instance, and end up in the same morning traffic jam that you hate.

Every day of your work week you could continue to be upset with this situation, or you could make a different choice as to how you get to work.

You might go to work sooner, or you might take another path. That one small distinct option could have a profound effect on your sense of struggle in life.

There could be a lot of other small choices that you could make. You can gradually get to a point where you know you’re no longer having trouble as you build up the amount of small changes you’re making.

6. Get other people’s encouragement

No one alone can face all their problems. To get through our challenges, we all need people to listen to us and give us words of encouragement.

To help take the pressure off your shoulders, take time to talk to those you’re closest to. There are always experts or volunteers who will be able to listen to you if you don’t have many individuals you’re close to in life.

Maybe you’ll feel a lot better about how you’re doing until you get to speak to somebody and be supported.

7. Quit expecting immediate gratification

If you expect all of your issues to go away tomorrow, you’re probably going to be in for a rude awakening. With so much we’re able to get in a moment, being careful in the process is more difficult.

Just as slow and steady won the race for the rabbit, slow progress tends to make you ultimately succeed. Keep trying to make things better day by day and see how things evolve over time.

8. Refrain from accusing others

If you constantly blame others for your issues, you find it harder to take responsibility for the choices you make. It’s your preferences that have the biggest effect on how good things are for you.

You can choose to be constructive and do stuff, or you can not do something. You can choose to be upbeat and have a positive outlook, or you can be pessimistic.

Accept your part in constructing the reality that you want and do what you can to make it happen.

9. Create a blueprint

It can be a fantastic way to stop them by putting together a strategy to overcome your challenges head on. To boost your mental well-being, your physical well-being, and your situations, start thinking about what different choices you should make.

Remembering the things you will do if you write them down would be simpler for you. Set up a timeline for when you’re going to do these stuff and get started on it.

10. Maintain perseverance

Improvement in condition just doesn’t happen immediately. To stop your challenges in the long term, you have to be consistent in your new lifestyle choices.

Maybe you can motivate a friend or family member to keep you responsible for your goals. Even if you only do one little thing on a regular basis to change your life, stopping your struggles will make a big difference.

Fighting is a natural part of life. Things just get difficult sometimes, but they can get better as well. All these tips, I hope, will help you overcome your circumstances and start feeling hope and joy again in your life.

11. Don’t give up too quickly

It’s quick to get discouraged when you’re facing adversity and give up on the direction you’re heading towards. But few people, by giving up, have ever gotten what they wanted.

It is the few who have chosen not to be dissuaded, and have continued to run toward their dreams, that typically make things happen. Do not let difficulties hold you down.

Get back up right, and begin to step forward again.
